Air Gunner Overview
Air Gunner was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, engaging way to pass a few minutes in a browser. The premise was simple and pulled you in immediately.
You control a gunner in the belly turret of a bomber. Your view is fixed on the sky behind the plane, and enemy fighters swarm in from all directions. You aim with your mouse and click to fire the machine guns. The objective is pure survival: protect your bomber for as long as possible by shooting down every attacking plane. You can cycle between different weapons, like a spread shot or perhaps rockets, to handle tougher waves. The pace is relentless. The fighters come faster, their attack patterns more aggressive, and the screen fills with bullets you must dodge while returning fire. It feels tense and focused, a test of your reflexes and precision under constant pressure.
