Vlak Overview
Vlak is a freeware DOS title from the 1990s, a reinterpretation of the Snake concept. The player directs a train through enclosed areas, gathering various objects to progress.
Each collected item causes a new wagon to be added to the train's length, with the wagon's appearance changing based on the specific pickup, such as an animal or a crown. The objective is to gather every item in a room without colliding, after which a yellow door becomes available to exit to the next stage.
The game contains fifty levels of increasing complexity, presented in a very small 13 KB file. It offers unlimited continues and does not track a high score, making the experience fair and focused on progression rather than competition.
