Zoo Hockey Overview
Zoo Hockey was one of those simple sports games that popped up during the Flash era. You'd find it on a gaming portal, load it in a browser, and be playing within seconds. It had that straightforward, cartoonish look common to many games from that time.
You control a single animal, like a pink bird, on a small rectangular court. Using your mouse, you move a paddle to hit a puck back and forth. The objective is to score seven goals against your opponent, which is usually a computer-controlled animal. The mechanics are basic: you position your paddle to block shots and angle your returns to slip the puck past the other player. The game moves quickly, and the difficulty can spike as the AI becomes more aggressive. It feels like a frantic, stripped-down version of air hockey where a single mistake can cost you a point.
