Stupid Cupid Overview
Stupid Cupid was one of those simple, direct games that defined the Flash era. You'd find it on a casual gaming site, load it up in your browser, and be playing within seconds. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, engaging distraction.
You control a small cupid figure at the bottom of the screen. Your only tool is a bow that shoots arrows straight upward. Enemies, which look like little devils or imps, drift across the top of the playfield. Your job is to shoot them before they drop bombs on you. The main objective is to clear each wave without getting hit. The mechanics are straightforward: you aim with your mouse and click to fire. You have to manage the timing of your shots, as the arrows travel slowly, and avoid the falling bombs. The pacing starts slow but quickly becomes frantic as more enemies appear. It feels like a tense, reactive game where a single mistake can end your run.
