Spaceman Overview
Spaceman was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the early 2000s. It was simple, a bit rough around the edges, and it loaded right in your browser. You didn't need an account or a download. You just clicked and started playing, which was the whole point of that era.
You control a little astronaut in a side scrolling environment. Your goal is to guide him to a teleport ring at the end of each stage. The path is blocked by moving platforms, spikes, and gaps you have to jump across. You use your mouse to click and drag the spaceman, which gives you a surprising amount of control over his jumps and momentum. You also collect glowing bonuses for points and extra lives. The game moves at a steady pace, but the obstacles get trickier, and a mistimed jump sends you back to the start. It feels like a quiet, precise puzzle of movement.
