Roboxer 2 Overview
Roboxer 2 was one of those straightforward fighting games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be the biggest or most complex title on the site. You just loaded it up and got straight into a match.
You control a boxer robot in a small, single-screen ring. The moment to moment play is about timing and spacing. You move left and right to dodge incoming punches, and you can step back or block to avoid damage. Throwing your own punches with the Z and X keys feels deliberate; a mistimed swing leaves you open. The main objective is to deplete your opponent's health bar before they deplete yours. The pacing is quick, with rounds that don't drag on. It can feel unforgiving if you spam punches, rewarding patience instead. The game has a simple, rhythmic feel to it, like a quick test of your reactions.
