Masters Season Overview
Masters Season was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It had that simple, clean look common to a lot of physics-based platformers from that time. You'd load it up in your browser, and it was ready to go without any fuss.
You control a small, round character, rolling and bouncing through a series of obstacle courses. The main goal is to get from the start to the finish of each level without falling off or getting stuck. You use the arrow keys to roll left and right, building momentum, and press the spacebar to jump. The challenge comes from timing those jumps precisely to clear gaps, avoid spikes, and sometimes use slopes to launch yourself. The physics feel floaty and deliberate; a slight miscalculation can send you tumbling back to the beginning. It moves at a steady, thoughtful pace, demanding patience more than quick reflexes. The experience is quiet and focused, a test of careful control over raw speed.
