Little Nancy Overview
Little Nancy was one of those simple, charming dress-up games that felt typical of the Flash era. You would find it on a website among many others, a quiet little project where the goal was just to put together an outfit. The artwork had a distinct manga style, defined mostly by the character's large, expressive eyes.
You control the mouse to browse through categories of clothing and accessories, clicking to dress the character. The main objective is to create a complete look, but a lot of the fun comes from mixing and matching the unusual items, like oversized hats or patterned boots. After choosing the clothes, you can change Nancy's facial expression by selecting from a set of eyes and mouths, which subtly alters the mood of the whole design. The game has no timer or score, so you can experiment freely without pressure. It feels like quietly arranging paper dolls on a screen.
