Jedi Vs. Jedi: Blades Of Light Overview
You control either Obi Wan or Anakin Skywalker in a one on one duel. The moment to moment play involves moving your character left and right, closing the distance to strike or creating space to block. You have a standard attack with your lightsaber, and you can block high and low attacks by holding the up or down arrows. A special spin attack and a Force push, which requires built up energy, add some variety to the exchanges. The main objective is straightforward: deplete your opponent's health bar before they deplete yours. The pacing is fast, with rounds ending quickly, and the difficulty can feel sharp as the computer opponent reacts swiftly to your moves. It feels like a rapid test of timing and basic spacing, over almost as soon as it begins.
