High Tide Overview
High Tide was one of those simple, absorbing games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be complicated. You were just a person on a small platform, and the water was coming up. The goal was straightforward: survive.
You control a character with the arrow keys, moving left and right across a series of wooden planks. The core action is jumping from one platform to the next as the ones below you vanish or crumble. You have to keep climbing, always watching for the next safe spot while the water visibly rises to meet you. The pace is insistent, never letting you rest for long. It feels like a constant, quiet scramble against an inevitable tide.
