Geometroids Overview
Geometroids was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the mid-2000s. It had a simple, clean look that felt typical for the time, built for a quick play session in a browser. The game didn't make a big fuss about itself; it just loaded up and got straight to the point.
You control a small ship in the center of the screen, using your mouse to rotate it and clicking to fire. Asteroids, or geometric blocks, drift in from the edges. Your job is to shoot them before they reach the center. The blocks break apart into smaller pieces when hit, and you have to clear all the fragments to survive. The pace starts slow but builds steadily as more shapes enter the playfield. It's a game of constant rotation and precise clicks, where a moment's hesitation means a block slips through. The experience is tense and focused, demanding your full attention until the last fragment is gone.
