Flirty Waitress Overview
Flirty Waitress was one of those simple, quick games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a short distraction, the kind of thing you'd play for a few minutes between other tasks. The premise was straightforward from the start.
You control Jessica, a waitress in a busy diner. Your main job is to serve customers by clicking on them to take their orders and then deliver their food. The twist is the flirting mechanic. By clicking and holding on the male customers, you fill a satisfaction meter. A full meter earns you a larger tip. The goal is to earn enough money through these combined actions to buy a prom dress shown at the top of the screen. The pace is steady, with customers arriving constantly, forcing you to juggle service and flirtation. It's not a difficult game, but letting customers wait too long will cause them to leave. Playing it feels like managing a light, silly pressure cooker where your main tool is a mouse click.
