Firing Rage Overview
Firing Rage was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick test of reflexes, the kind of game you'd load up between classes or on a slow afternoon. The screen was usually just you, a weapon, and a lot of things that needed to be hit.
You control a crosshair with your mouse, clicking to fire at the enemies that swarm in from the edges. Your main job is to survive each wave, clearing the screen before the next one arrives. You have to manage your ammo, pressing R to reload when your clip runs dry. The spacebar lets you switch between a few different weapons, like a shotgun or a machine gun, which changes how you handle the crowds. The pace is relentless; the difficulty comes from the sheer number of targets and their increasing aggression. It feels like a constant, tense scramble to keep up.
