Dodo Hunt Overview
Dodo Hunt was one of those simple Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It didn't have a complicated story or fancy graphics. You just loaded it up in your browser and started playing. The developer isn't widely known, which was common for many games from that era. It felt like a product of its time, made for a quick break during the day.
You control a small hunter at the bottom of the screen. Dodo birds fly across from left to right in a steady line. Your job is to click on them to shoot them down before they escape off the right side. The main objective is to clear each wave without letting too many get away. If you miss too many shots, the game ends. The birds start slow but gradually move faster, and sometimes they change their flight pattern. You have to lead your shots a little, anticipating where they'll be. The pacing is steady, and the difficulty comes from that increasing speed and the need for consistent accuracy. It feels like a straightforward test of your focus and timing.
