Big Nose Overview
Big Nose was one of those games you'd find buried in the Flash portals of the early 2000s. It had that simple, cartoonish look common to a lot of browser games from that time. You played as a caveman with a prominent proboscis, tasked with a straightforward quest.
You guide Big Nose through a series of side-scrolling levels, moving with the arrow keys and jumping with the spacebar. The main goal is to collect pieces of fruit, often tucked away in tricky spots or guarded by basic enemies like birds and spiders. You can stomp on some foes, and a later power-up lets you throw bones. The levels are short but require precise jumps, and the difficulty ramps up quickly with more perilous platforms. It feels like a brisk, sometimes frustrating test of timing.
