Berenice Overview
Berenice was one of those quiet, thoughtful games from the Flash era. It appeared in 2005, created by a developer known as Pastel Games. You wouldn't find frantic action here. Instead, it presented a simple, almost meditative premise.
You control Berenice, a small angelic figure. Your task is to guide her through a series of serene, side-scrolling landscapes. You click to make her fly, carefully navigating past obstacles like thorny branches and dark clouds. The main objective is to collect glowing orbs of light scattered across each level. These orbs represent kindness, and gathering them gradually brightens the muted scenery. The pacing is slow and deliberate, demanding patience more than quick reflexes. It feels like gently steering a feather on a breeze, a calm and focused exercise in guiding light through a softly shadowed world.
